Title: *** SOLD ***
Post by: FOsteology on November 21, 2013, 10:43:58 AM
Dan Wesson .44 Mag revolver with a 10" and 6" barrel and barrel swap tool.

I traded into this revolver a few years ago, and simply don't use it. I doubt if over the years I've fired even 100 rounds through the 6" barrel. Previous owner said he never even used the 6" barrel as he always used the 10" barrel for target and game.

What you see in the pictures, is what you get.

$550 shipped to your FFL from my FFL. Will consider trades.   SOLD

Now there is a firearm that I haven't seen in years.   I only shot one .357 with the six inch barrel, but it did a pretty good job.

Jerry

Edit:  I don't think the one that I shot had grips like these.  Another 'after market' purchase that you added?

You're correct, it is not the original grips.

I listed this on three Forums, and man was I inundated with PM's!

Revolver has been SOLD

I think I must have priced it at a steal of a deal as I received (and still receiving) PM's of "I'll take it!"

The guy that beat everyone to it is tickled pink!

Since obviously I'm clueless, what the heck was the real market value of this revolver? Heck, I don't even know what model # this Dan Wesson is as it's not listed anywhere on the revolver.

Years ago I had a DW .357.  A very nice gun.

If you look on Gunbroker for a DW .44mag, you might get a little sick.   :readthis:   That $550 was a very nice deal!

Yea, but those have the factory grips - unlike this one that had all those little lines cut into it.   :sad3:

As long as you got what you wanted for the firearm then everything is good.

I told the "boss" that I saw a nice revolver on line and if it was still there tomorrow night I was going to buy it.  He who hesitates etc. etc. etc.
