While in the woods in Denali, a grizzly got very close (17 steps) from me and my wife. He never saw us but I remember thinking "this is not going to end well" as he walked by.

I can't imagine having a big brown bear that close and being armed with only a bow. I know the guide had a rifle but that bear could have done a hell of a lot of damage in a very short time. Hunting a brown bear with a bow is definitely not on my bucket list.

when I quit smoking, I WENT HUNTING THEM WITH A WILLOW SWITCH... :biggrin:
