The talk around here is that all the Bald Eagles went south for the winter because of our unusually cold temps and lack of open water they didnt have any food.
The rivers still hard all the way across, plus I seen Eagles all winter  :laf:
Today Katie and I took the camera for a ride to a few spots I've been seeing them hangout but never had the camera with. And yep...they were still home hanging out.

Young one?....I just saw one on the ice today eating a dead perch!
I would think a young one. I know there head plumage doesn't whiten till there like 2 years of age or something like that.
Still awesome pics!
I am going with the majority here and saying that is an immature Bald eagle.
Jerry

Why do they call them Bald? looks like they got a pretty good cover on top to me. :laf: :innocentwhistle:
They do looking ticked off. But they all do the way their brow "V"s down towards the beak like a scorn. :laf:
