I wonder how the camera man was able to get such good footage in such a harsh inviroment. Heck its hard to say how many cameras and how much money it would cost to do that today. You know someone froze their butts off waiting in the wrong place for the shot.

Neat footage. Russian wolfhounds as catch/kill dogs.

I've seen 3 lone wolves here in Iowa in the last 50yrs. Two of those 3 were seen while coyotes hunting. Every one of them were larger than the wolves in the videos. Two of our trail hounds caught the 1st wolf I seen. When we were coyote hunting. Wolf kicked their butts. Hounds came back over the high hill slowly lumbering through the deep snow. Looked like they caught a shotgun blast on their heads, muzzles & front chest/shoulder areas. Never seen that wolf again.

People who claim no wolves in Iowa, are clueless. Nomads pass through now & then.
