Title: Big catfish on an ultra light
Post by: coyote101 on May 21, 2014, 02:54:32 PM
After catching a couple on a Jitterbug yesterday morning my wife switched over to her favorite ultra light crankbait. It's a tiny little Bass Pro lure she calls "Never fail". She's caught a lot of nice fish on it in the past, but yesterday took the cake.

Nine pounds ten ounces and quite the trophy on an ultra light rig

You can see "Never fail" dangling fro the line over the side of the boat. I still can't believe that big fish didn't break the line.

Wow that is a big fish.  Looks like a different fish in the second pic - fat.

Pat,

There seems to be a recurring theme this year - the girls are out fishing the boys!  First Jim and now you.   Tell her congratulations.  I tried to watch the video last night but photobucket was down for service.  I just saw how nice of a fish it was.
