After fishing today i fired up the spit and did alittle dutch oven cooking. Not the fish i had in mind but still good eatin. Boneless pork with bbq sauce home made biscuits and fried tatters.Guests are not allowed to view images in posts, please

It took me a few minutes to figure it all out. I can almost smell the BBQ pork.
What is that you used for housing the coals?
Cast iron brake drum of a dump truck it really hold the heat in.

Yes it is Jim they got burnt on the bottom alittle but were still very good. Im going to try a over night fishing adventure and cook some fresh fish and fixins over the fire real soon..

I just got told I was making 4 different cobblers for my birthday party on the 12th of July. I might have to put together a video of how to do it..
Love the braek drum for the fire pit. I have looked around for one but never could find one the size I want.
Man that would be awsome! I can hold my own cooking but baking is a differnt thing.
