We have had cooler weather here in WV the last two evenings so my hunting buddy Jon Martin and I decided to go out again after killing a coyote yesterday evening 9/11/14. We went to a place in OH where we have had good success. We set up overlooking a field about an hour before dark. Jon started calling and after the third series of rabbit distress a coyote came up out of a holler here . . .

When the gun cracked the coyote went down, then jumped up and ran into the woods. Jon continued calling with pup distress for a few minutes with no further success. So we went looking for the coyote which we found not far into the woods.

Nice job Jim. I gotta get out soon, but these farm chores are slowing me down. Just now doing second cutting hay. After that I'm hoping to put some fur down.
