Last evening Jon and I headed out to call my sister's farm in OH. It was dark when we walked up onto the crest of a meadow. I stayed on the right side while Jon walked on around to the left side. I was not even set up when I heard Jon's gun crack. Then a second shot and I heard the "plop" of a bullet connecting with flesh.

Jon had walked up on this coyote trotting along a fence line about 100 yard in front of him. He missed the first shot, then started lip squeaking and the coyote turned and came right toward him. Jon connected with his second shot! Fur down!!

We continued calling with no further success. Then moved to another location. We heard coyotes off in the distance but didn't see any more?
