Oldest daughters been taking the baby to the doctor for her weekly newborn check ups, and now monthly...
Yesterday she told me that every time she goes to the doctor she has to fill out a survey/questionnaire. One of the questions asked every trip is, "Do you have guns in your home?"
That kinda irritates me :wo:
I said what do you put down?
Shes says I put down yes. There's guns all over Dad.
:doh2:
My wife heard about the same question from the eye doctor. I told her to use the lois lerner reply and take the 5th. The lying b*tchs name isn't capitalized because she deserves no respect for what she did.
I think I would leave anything like that blank.

If the jack boots want to know if you have guns all they have to do is get a list of hunters in the state from Fish and Wildlife. Most hunters own guns. Or they could simply look at who has a CCDW license.
But as to the question, I would answer no.
Answer no. An empty box is a YES to the gubment.
I dont own any guns i got rid of them last year after the goverment promised me they would protect me and my family from the bad guys. All i have to do is dial 911 and all is well.
No guns here either, Dan!! Gave them all to various friends!
Jim
What guns? :shrug:
I just got this article sent to me from the USCCA. The NRA is calling doctors asking this question, gun owner registration.
www.americas1stfreedom.org/articles/2015/6/18/you-may-feel-some-pressure/
If my doc as me if I own any guns I will pull my ccw out and let him take a gander. He's a pretty good doc who likes guns.
But I don't see him asking.
Just say no. :biggrin: :biggrin:
It is not the docs it is OBAMACARE
What ever the reason the question has no business on the survey and I would answer it. I would not say no nor yes. I would write do you still want my business in the future, shit can the question or I will go else where.
Owning a gun is healthy for me.
I doubt the doctor even reads the survey it is some thing a office manager or repitionest does.
:biggrin: Al
I have never been asked. I have a good friend who has and his reply was: Does that include Hand Grenades, RPG's and and some other "stuff".
I remember one time going to the VA years ago I took my gun off in the car and locked it in the glove box and then I went in and still have the empty holster on my belt on my pants and when I was stripping down in the exam room the doctor saw the empty holster and started freaking out and said you can't have weapons in here! And all this other stuff and I said there isnt a goddamn weapon in here if you can see! He didn't say much after that,moron!
A U.S. citizen friend of mine who grew up in Canada got a doctorate in some kind of nursing and took a job at a town in Arizona. They liked her and vice versa, and as they finalized the hiring, one of the doctors asked her if she carried.
She didn't know what he meant so he explained that many people in the town carried concealed handguns, including most of the doctors and nurses, and she needed to be aware of that environment. Sweet little Canadian girl was shocked, and more so her first day when a grey haired pillar of the community kind of gentleman patient took off his pistol as he disrobed. She asked one of the doctors to help her pick a handgun and get some training. Last I heard she carried and you would not want to mess with her.

That's a great story!! I think we should all carry and it be like the old west. Someone steels your property they pay with there life! It wouldnt take long before robbery was a thing of the past.
With all the free hand outs we've got now there no reason for someone to have to steal anything.
Good point!
That sounds about right Clyde. Arizona has always been a carry state and practically everyone does. Its about as close to the "Old West" as you'll get. I believe you can take a gun anywhere in that state. :confused: :shrug:

"I believe you can take a gun anywhere in that state." Yes you can and most of us do.
My VA clinic sent a questionnaire that they had gun locks and would I like some, UP top 4. All my foolish friends said don't send back you want any it is a ploy to know if you have guns. I sent it back and got 4 cable locks.
Every gun I have ever bought I had to fill out paper work on. Unless they lost that stuff they know about every one I own.

Where some state's CCW license only covers firearms, in Kentucky, the CCDW license covers:
A weapon of mass destruction
Any weapon from which a shot, readily capable of producing death or other serious physical injury, may be discharged;
Any knife other than an ordinary pocket knife or hunting knife;
Billy, nightstick, or club;
Blackjack or slapjack;
Nunchaku karate sticks;
Shuriken or death star; or
Artificial knuckles made from metal, plastic, or other similar hard material.
Kinda neat, huh?
Yes it is!
Whats the "D"mean?
Deadly.
Really? They break it down like that?

Yep. Those words came straight from the statute.
