Just showing off my mistakes
Bill
Everybody has to start somewhere Bill. You did OK.
Hang in there!! As has been said..... ya gotta start somewhere...half the battle is ever getting started, and you have that part behind you.
All the best to ya!!!
Joe
Bill,
Don't get rid of all your "first" calls. You need to have some to compare your upcoming work to. It takes a while to find what your style is, which is part of the fun, and then you start making a "different looking" call and it comes out with your style. Your first calls are looking better than mine when I started, which I kept and no one will see. :iroll:
Jerry
Bill,
None of the shapes really jump out at me, but I kinda like the one that looks like an old "milk bottle". I'm sure picture really isnt doing them justice, as ya can't realy see the finishes.
For a good base line hunting call they all sure would work, even that open reed.
You keep at, and your going to nail one you really like, and when ya do I'll be there to like it too.
Thanks for the vote of confidence.
Todd the Milk Bottle was a mistake and a buddy of mine saw it, and snatched it up.[I just gave it to him]
Jerry You haven't seen all the first ones there are some I wouldn't even take a pic of :laf:
I tried a 2 piece howler tonight and so far not so good I think I can still save it
Bill
Bill,
It looks like you are on your way. They keep getting better and better. Next thing you know, your gonna be like the big boys.
