Jim,

The exact quote was that they would INSPECT (not respect) your privacy.

I signed up for Lifelock about a year ago. It's worth the 100 or so bucks a year. They monitor all your accounts for fraudulent activity. I did it after a friend got wiped out after his wife made a simple purchase over the computer.

I will NEVER text and drive. It is illegal. Might check my email or facebook, but no texting.

I have Anthem. I'm not sure if having a name like Mike Smith is good or bad in this situation.

A few years ago, my wife handed me a letter of mine that she had opened. She was grinning like a opossum. She said, "this is funny since I know better." It was from the San Bernadino Dept of Health and Human Services. Seems a girl by the name of Angelina Gomez, or something like that, was claiming that she had had a child by me and was wanting support. I called them up and got their fax number then sent them a page out of my medical record that showed that my, ahem, "surgery" took place approximately a year before the child was allegedly conceived. People getting your information can happen anytime. Seems like at least once every year or so I am disputing a major credit car purchase. Pays to be on you toes if your online much.
