Title: Please send rain...in large quantities
Post by: FinsnFur on August 15, 2006, 04:55:21 PM
I'm afriad I'm going to wake up some morning and find tumble weeds rolling across the once plush green covered front yard.

The core of engineers is threating to shut down the barge line, the river is so low. :holdon:
Ric have you seen the river lately?

You think it's low there, try -1.1 at New Madrid today. Keeps it up they will be getting out the dredge rig.

This is hte time of year when the fellows chasing big cats get busy. They congregate in the deeper holes below Smithland dam. Jimmie

You can quit doing the rain dance now, I don't think the farmers will ever get the crops out with all the rain we have been getting lately.
