Great pics! Thanks for posting.
Is this one a golden eagle?
Grandson Code and I saw two golden eagles last week, in the Interior of BC, not exactly a rare sight but sure not common for us. In contrast we see bald eagles by the dozens on our big river near the coast.

I'm not sure? Might be a young(yearling) Bald Eagle? Takes them 2yrs to mature & get their full colors from what I've heard.

Good point. With the bits of white on his neck an immature bald is likely. I've heard that it takes four years to get full white on their head, neck and tail.
I should take my spotting scope over to the river this afternoon and examine some eagles but I'm too lazy :nofgr: and it is a COLD rain out there today, trying to snow. Good thing I stopped by a bakery this morning and brought home some cinnamon rolls right out of the oven. Hot coffee, warm cinnamon rolls, looking at the rain outside, both the rain and I staying where we are supposed to be.
Great pics !!
Awesome pictures.
Are you permitted to shoot cat birds out there?
And now I've got a craving for some cinnamon buns
