Title: I am an angry American!
Post by: nastygunz on June 05, 2015, 08:26:19 PM
And a complacent one at times. It just struck me today as I went to the local police department to drop off my concealed carry renewal application and drove by four times trying to find a parking spot and then dealt with  some rude clerk woman behind a bullet proof glass window that I was going through all this for a constitutional right that I shouldn't have to pay anything for or do any kind of application for.
Along with the $10 fee they have also changed the application so now they ask you what your occupation is and where you work. That is so they can create a database so they go to your house to arrest you and if your not home then they can go to your place of employment and arrest you.  Right across the river in my home state of Vermont there is no permit requirement Grrrrrr.

Fight the power!

I purchased a fire arm just the other day and I noticed on the computer screen the clerk had pulled up that it had my 0lace of employment and how long I had been there. She pulled all that info up just from my drivers license.

This used to be a hell of a country

You can come to this country illegally and live here and get caught and nothing happens to you but boy don't get caught without that permit! Not to mention every time I have to put down three references who they call and ask about me. I ought to just start open carrying everywhere, that is legal with no permit

Three references? Really? I don't remember us having that in Ky. Just this yr I started carrying very regular, I've had mine forever but never used it much! Well with the hell this country has become I don't like forgetting to take it.
Its a shame that you have to pay to be free and protect yourself.

Working people are not the majority any longer. Sorry I call B/S on that statement.; Problem is the majority of working people. Vote crazy high for the rich canadates  or feeling like they are all crooks any way why vote at all.
Some states are screw to start with as the big city people out number the rural gun loving people. New York is like that Detroit,  Chicago, LA and others.

I like open carry it is legal and there isn't a thing they can do about it. Tried to get a law passed you couldn't carry open in a school but didn't work.

VOTE!! you have to vote! even if you feel like your vote dosnt count you have to vote. BUT learn who is out there to vote for. If your looking at your ballot and there is only one canadate ask the poll workers for the list of wright in canadates. They will have a list of names you can vote for inplace of the one that is shown. You get enough votes for the odd ball out and you can keep the one canadate from winning. If you get enough people voting for the other guy you can keep the dems and republicans from getting enough electorial votes to win.

Above all VOTE and learn how and why!

Bonjour!!

The problem I see is that as long as a 3rd party is pushed all it will do is split the vote to 25% Rep,, 25% Tea Party & 50% dumbass. So where does the 3rd party help anybody in this Nation? IF the Rep's & TP'ers would realize they are one & the same albeit a few minor differences maybe they could re-connect & make a legitimate run.
A 3 party system will always split 1/2 of the votes between 2 candidates & the 3rd party garners the remaining 1/2 of the votes.

I just feel like the old guard ,, republicans,, doesn't want to change & the new guard ,,Tea Party,, can't make them realize the World has outgrown them. Leaving the socialist party to run rampant.

gravesco-- I don't disagree with your statement,, however I do feel like they just aren't taking the time to vote & have given up hope for a better future for their children. At some point you will be totally correct I believe.

As a sidenote I checked with all three people that I put down as character references on my pistol permit and all three of them said that they had never been contacted by any police regarding the pistol permit, and yes I have a new permit now.

That is asinine.  People/Voters have got to start challenging these laws that accomplish nothing except putting money in the hands of politicians and bureaucrats.  We don't have to get permission from any government official to carry open or concealed.   People must start getting involved with what is going on in their community, city, county, state.  Once we get them squared away the feds will have to pay attentions.  As an example our city council decided we needed traffic cameras at all major traffic intersections, people had no choice, yet our tax dollars are paying for it.  We garnered enough signature to have it placed on the ballot.  It lost by a large majority, no more traffic cameras in the city.

In New Hampshire there was just a bill that passed the House and Senate with a majority in both to do away with a concealed carry license, and a liberal left-wing woman democrat governor vetoed it!

Just across the river in the land of my birth, the sovereign state of Vermont, there never has been a concealed carry permit and despite that there has not been mass murder or chaos!

Open carry is no big deal out here, Arizona one of the most gun friendly states in the union.

According to Guns & Ammo we are still the reigning champion, Arizona the  most gun friendly state combines strong laws with an unmatched shooting culture and strong industry presence. An effort to strengthen the state’s preemption law failed to make it out of the legislature this year, but a clarifying bill did pass, specifying that the transfer of firearms was immune from administrative or municipal regulation. Arizona gets full points in every category with both permitless and permitted carry, strong self-defense laws, a “shall sign” NFA statue and a thriving competitive shooting scene. Whether you're into ISPC-style shooting, 3-Gun, long-range rifles, Cowboy matches, shotgunning or just shooting machine guns in the desert, Arizona has everyone covered.

At one time we as Americans stood for freedom and justice. We believed in what was right and honest. We believed in helping the oppressed and those in need. Believe it or not a majority still do, we're called the silent majority. Liberals and others call us conservative, I prefer to believe we are the ones who have common sense... we look at truth and reality.

We love our country and don't want to see it fall or be transformed into a country of deceit, lies and corruption, but that is exactly where it's been heading...

Americans believe in helping the needy not the lazy or those who scam others. By scamming, I mean those who enter this country illegally. Most illegals demand taxpayer benefits. They come here to receive something for free but contribute nothing to our country. Then we have Muslims coming here who demand that we cater to their customs and beliefs. Sorry but they came here, we didn't bring them here... nor want them here.

America use to be about true freedom, to think and say what you believe. Not anymore, if you have an opinion that doesn't fall in line with progressive/liberals, the establishment or PC crowd, you're branded a hater, a bigot, a racist or having a phobia. Well I'm a free American that can use critical thinking and use facts and truth to come to a decision based on logic and not feelings.

I don't need the government to tell me what I should think. I don't need mainstream media telling me what to think. I don't need a political party telling me what to think, and I sure as hell don't need anyone else telling me what and how to think.

Everyone in this country should be treated equally for that is a true definition of a free society. But others want everyone made equal... that is a true definition of a subjugated society.

We as Americans should embrace truth, for truth is an absolute, but truth scares liars and the corrupt. Yes indeed, the truth can hurt at times. It's suppose to remind us of what is right and what is just.

Truth hurts feelings, so be it... feelings are just that, FEELINGS. Now, it's don't speak the truth, it might hurt someones feelings. The only time truth hurts someone's feelings is if that person is wrong, a bad person, a degenerate or is corrupt.

A truly free person has three choices that only he or she can decide for themselves.
1. If their going to be a good person or bad person.
2. Their morals and values.
3. Their spirituality or non-spirituality.

Freedom is for every citizen in this country. No one should have more or less rights than other citizens. We are a constitutional republic and NOT a democracy, the only thing we do democratically is vote.

Our government is corrupt and sells itself to the highest bidder. Our government now aligns itself with our enemies and turns its back on our allies. Our government now sees free Americans as the enemy and see those who wish to harm and kill us as a friend.

No, you don't have to hit me in the head with a 2X4 to see whats happening to our country... :mad2:
