May be something to look at in the future.
I've kind of became a ruger handgun fan in the last few months! I've bought 2 and may have to look at this one.

I have been considering a federal 327. Makes me want one even more

How does the 327 compare to the 357 ? Is it potent enough to harvest deer sized game?

 THAT should open up a conversation :eyebrownod:
A well placed 22 will take down a deer so I'm sure a 327 will follow suit. I personally wouldnt want to use it.
I shot a deer with a 357 Desert Eagle years ago (had to have one when they first came out) I'll never do it again. It was almost horrifying, that thing would not die.

In Indiana you can't use a 327fed for deer. But for self defense the 327 is powerfull enough to get the job done.

Jim I've killed several with 357 and never had any issues!

Same here with the one in my profile picture, .357 wins all 12 rounds of that fight!

IMHO, it is always about shot placement.  That's why a .22lr will bring down deer if the shot placement is correct.  A bad hit with a .50 cal and the deer will run.

All 3 of mine were head shots around 30 yards. No need to track.

Some of mine were head shots that day too. Shot placement is the key. Whatever I did I wont be doing again with a 357 :nono: it wasnt kosher at all. The 270 does it much quicker and cleaner :eyebrownod:

Love the little 32 caliber guns. I don't own any 32cal guns anymore but the 327 intrigued me very much and one reason was this veritiliy.  Jonathan (Paint) bought one but sold it before I could trade it off him. Would really like this one in this flavor but to many on my list above it.
