I always enjoy how inatimate objects are stupid when we lose a little hide.  You still got your finger so I expect you will live. :wo:

if that's his trigger finger he has a poor style of shooting... looks like a pinky... but you can bet that ain't gonna buff out...

That looks like it hurts.
And if that's his trigger finger, he's got more things to worry about than physical ailments.   :laf:

That is gonna leave a mark - after the stitches are removed.  Note for the future: metal is stronger than flesh.

That looks like it hurt some. Just for future reference, that type of gate opens at the other end. That end is supposed to roll on the pipe.  :rolleye:

Yah this ones not gonna buff out...lol
I've done this before, but my hand hadnt gone in so far and it hurt but didnt get cut. This time it was a different story
The gate is a little wore out and drops down so you have to lift on it when ya pull it shut. It kills my back every time and it's a natural reaction to to reach up and push up on that top rail to help lift, instead of throwing my back further out by squat lifting it lol.

What sucked was when my hand went into the roller and I freaked out from the sudden crushing pain and the natural reaction was to pull my hand back out of the way...it wouldnt come back.  :holdon: I had to lift the gate and push it backwards one handed to free myself. SOB! That hurt! :laf:

The nurse at the hospital said, "I cant believe your 49 yrs old, never had stitches before". I said you cant believe I'm 49 or that I've never had stitches? :eyebrow:

They put a horizontal bar on the gate about waist height to help lift it now. :laf:  I should take a pic of that

I made a call on your behalf to OSHA (or whatever that safety office is) and they said they would take care of it.   :shock2:   They mentioned a several million dollar fine.  Do you think you will get any of that?

My brother had a sagging gate he was always bitching about. Bitching wasn't getting it fixed either. I made him up a bracket to bolt to the end of the gate and had a wheel from a old wore out lawn drop spreader. Gate doesn't sag any more and rolls open and closed real easy now.
The family doesn't have to hear him bitch about that any more.
