Title: Black and white.
Post by: pitw on October 15, 2015, 10:01:51 PM
It was a beautiful evening so I went for a drive/walk and saw some grouse but knew we had some ready for supper.  So I kinda enjoyed my time as I saw 7 moose, 4 coyotes, several Muleys/WT's and a bald eagle.

7 moose!? When does the season start and what should I pack? :innocentwhistle:

By the way, that "grouse" looks suspiciously like a magpie to me? Just sayin...

Sounds like a good time.  Nice looking shotgun, but what really is the bird?  You said you 'saw' some grouse, but didn't say that this was one.

The bird is a magpie I shot while using that 410 with 2 1/2 #6 shot.  I missed a grouse on the wing with the slingshot and was some pissed. :doh2: Steve right now if I spent a day driving and walking about it would be with little effort to see more than 50 moose.  I'd take you out in a heartbeat but you nonresident aliens ain't allowed to hunt moose in this WMU.
