We..(my brother and a bunch of friends) decided to throw a little fall get together out in the woods Saturday night on a piece land he bought for cutting wood etc. Cook some brats over the fire, drink some beer, run our mouths [emoji12]
Bout 10 o clock we could here a single coyote getting a little restless, maybe 100-150 yards out. It wasnt a full 5 minutes later when the rest of the mob showed up and they broke into that beautiful chorus. It was so mesmerizing I tried to record it but the phone wouldn't pick it up.
Bout an hour later another single coyote moved in much closer and started getting pretty lippy. It was either a YOY or a female, it was rather high pitched. I would guess it to be within 50 yards as we could hear the leaves and stuff rustling around as it scampered back and forth. So yeah despite the beer and brats and big bonfire we had a little excitement lol.
