Do any of you guys read "Trappers Post" by any chance?
Never heard of it but would be interested to know more.
I've been through trapper and predator caller, but not that one.
It's even better than the Trapper and Predator Caller if you're into trapping. I'm working with the editor right now on a couple of articles. The first one is suppose to appear in the next issue Jan/Feb. The second article will likely be in multiple issues. Can't wait to see how they turn out.

Going big time uh?
Feel free to post your article here so that we can all read it.
Jerry
I'd hardly call it big time Jim. I'm just better at writing about stuff than telling stories verbally.
Still in the editing process Jerry...I'll be talking to the editor today about the rough drafts I submitted and we'll discuss everything from that point. I've been wanting to do this for a long time...now I just need to get my foot in the door with a waterfowling magazine.
Good for you! :congrats: Carrying through to submit an article is the hardest part for many. Keep at it.

I don't really know so I will ask. Are the waterfowl magazines similar to the waterfowl calls in that they have a 'higher paying' clientele?
Jerry
I have no idea Jerry. I haven't contacted any of them yet.
The waterfowl magazines themselves are on par with any other magazine out there. Unless you're talking about the "Double Gun & Single Shot Journal". That one is roughly twice the price of normal magazines. But normal magazines don't have the gold edged pages like old school books.
