It looks like I might need to take a midnight ride. With a trailer of course.

That's not the gate of death off to the left of the truck there is it? ( finger crusher).

It'll be close Pat. You can't really tell in the picture, but the rows alongside the shop with plastic on top are 16 foot long. Each row is about 2 truck loads. I'm thinking 3 more truckloads and I should be safe. (should)

Thats not the same gate Nasty lol. That gate of death was at work. This gate hasnt been open for over 50 years. It belongs to the railroad.

Why not fill up the back of the truck?

According to HaMeR - Glen (the only person who really knows trucks) it is because it is a Ford and Fords can only haul half a load.

Right Glen?

I though it was because the bed floor was rusted out! I never thought of the lack of power issue. Like lol

Well....I wont be hauling anymore wood this year. The last load I hauled in yesterday looks like it broke the truck in half. One of the rear leaf spring brackets snapped off the frame and sent the leaf clear up through the rotted out bed of the truck. The whole rear left corner of the box is on the ground.

I'm kidding

And that is what happens when you put more than 100 pounds in the bed of a truck.

Is your wife tiny?  Or did you repair a lot of truck box's?

My wife rides in the front seat of the truck and isn't expected to ride in the bed.  I did think about us both being in the bed of the truck once, but that is a totally different story.
