I've never seen that before.

Yew looks like instant death by comparison to others eh?

I've been lucky with wood, but they might want to put bobcats on that list somewhere. When I skinned my first one my whole head and neck swelled up and itched so bad I thought I was gonna seize up and tip over.

If you don't have a parachute you should not jump right?   :eyebrow:

Seriously though respirator, face shield, and dust collector every time.

The only wood I ever had a problem with was Leopard Wood - and I sent that call to you Todd - I figured Alaska was as far as I could get it from NH without paying international postage.

Cocobolo used to give me some breathing problems - now I just hold my breath when I turn it.

It was my arms and neck.  THe sad part was, once the rash went away, and I emptied the shop vac, all the dust in there got on me and I got it again.

Never go near the stuff now.  A couple of the big whareshouses I go to find wood have it, and I always give it a wide berth LOL.
