Well you can keep it
Nice looking woodpile!! i'm jealous
Is that enough wood to get you through a cold Wisconsin winter?
Pat
Thanks Dave :laf:
Normally no, Pat. There's more wood there then there looks too. Each row is exactly 16 feet deep. I know this because I used 8ft 4x4s on the ground to stack it on lol. And the whole pile is 5 feet tall. Normally I would need roughly at least 4 more rows to get all the way through winter, but this winter I didnt start burning 24/7 until a week or so ago. Up until then it was just a fire in the morning and maybe one at night.
And it's probably a good thing too because we cut on a piece of my brothers land and the river has prevented us from getting in to get wood out.
3 inches of snow today .
More rain. We could use it but I'm really wanting snow here. :eyebrow: :eyebrow:
Becky and I drove home from Columbus on Monday and there were places that had snow when we started, but it was melting. By the time we made it home there was nothing left but puddles and more puddles expected today.
Jerry
It's arriving here very soon too. I was dreaming of a green Christmas too.

... Lake effect snow watch remains in effect from late Wednesday
night through Friday evening...
Hazardous weather...
* north to northwest winds will bring lake effect snow into the area
late Wednesday night... although the exact start time is
uncertain. Snow will then continue through Friday.
* Northwest winds gusting as high as 30 mph near Lake Superior
will lead to patchy blowing and drifting snow.
* Near Lake Superior... several inches of snow is expected to
accumulate each day and night from Thursday through Friday...
resulting in total accumulations of 12 inches or more in some
locations.
We're due to get ours starting tomorrow. Calling for a few inches by the lake and up to two feet inland in the snowbelt areas. I may have to change my hunting plans for the weekend.
