Title: The "experts"
Post by: snafu on February 07, 2017, 06:13:12 AM
Over the last 10yrs I've gathered lion sighting info & other interesting info on area lion(s). I've visited in person or on the phone or other media. With some 70+ people, many of whom were farmers, hunters...ect.

One old guy up North in my state. Had a horse(near adult size) killed in his fenced pasture. He called the local CO. The horse was found in a brushy draw on the edge of his pasture. Horse was drug under a low wash out under the fence. Yep, you guessed it, coyotes were the culprits. (Probably a lone coyote on steroids? I'm a guessing?)

I spoke with 2 farmers SouEast in the next county a few yrs ago. Both had a horse raked on both flanks. One horse had a large hip muscle group severed. Yep....you guessed it. A barbed wire fence attacked them.)

The old saying, "Never say never" I do believe holds water?  :alscalls:
