Killed this bird at 7:20 this morning!
Had been on him and his 2 buddy's since sat but they always hung up.
Ended up being between them and some hens this morning and got a 20 yrs shot. 26.3 lbs 11" beard and 1 broken spur that was 1".Guests are not allowed to view images in posts, please

Average is about 17-18 pounds. The world's record for heaviest turkey was killed in Kentucky in 2015 and weighed 37.6 pounds. It was taken near the LBL on a private farm.

I'm starting to think I'm hunting on a former nuclear site! It grows Hugh animals.
Pat I really like that pic also! I'm going to do a 8x10 and hang it in the house.
I saw that old dead tree next to were he died and thought wow!! What a great place to take a photo and capture this beautiful birds final moments and show respect to him.

A buddy of mine shot one yesterday and we ate turkey nuggets wrapped on bacon over the grill last night. While we drank beer on the deck and ran our mouths. :innocentwhistle:
