Title: Heading to Colorado
Post by: FinsnFur on June 25, 2017, 11:02:34 PM
A co-worker invited me to go to Colorado with him over our 4th of July shutdown. He goes out every other year or so and does some trail riding and takes in all the scenery and old abandoned mines, ghost towns, etc. I didnt know Colorado was known for a such a huge attraction with it's 4 wheeler trails.
I was a little skeptical at first but he talked me right into it. He says you help me pay for gas, and buy your own food and we can get by pretty cheap. I've got a four wheeler you can use, you'll have fun.
The last couple weeks at work he's been stoking me up. Showing me pictures of things he wants me to see etc.
I'm looking forward to it. I'm sure I'll have tons and tons of photos :eyebrow:.
Headin out July 1st
No partys, clean up after yourselves :laf:

Sounds like fun! Be safe and don't run into Sasquatch.
If you do have plenty jack links on hand.😂

Colorado on a 4-wheeler will be a blast.  Just stay out of the cities and you will be fine.  Looking forward to the shots of 'Rocky Mountain High' as John Denver would say.

Jim, you're due for some serious fun.  I don't know how you keep this place going for the rest of us, plus work full time, handle your girls and catch big bass on the side.  Have a great time.

You just had to throw that in there didnt you Dan  :waiting: lol
I dont believe in BigFoot but the guy I'm headed out there with claims he seen what he would swear was a Bigfoot while out there one year. He said it was just off the shoulder of a quiet paved two lane they were heading down late at night. When they flew by it they agreed to go back and see for sure but it was gone.
I'm thinking yah...ok   :innocentwhistle:
No fishing pole. He says there wont be no time to set and fish. Which is probably a good thing because I'm not real fond of the thought of packing my good poles around on a four wheeler in the mountains. I cringe when I lay them in the truck making sure they dont touch each other lol :holdon:

Have fun,  Jim.  Since you are going to Colorado and are back traveling again,  maybe you'll be able to make it to LBL next year.

It is definitely on my list Johnny. My ole F150 just rolled 213K and I'm not too fond of putting her through that trip :nono:
On the other hand...I am so close to getting my house paid off I can smell it. My plans is to take that $400/month house payment and turn it into a truck payment when that happens.
If it's in time for the LBL...see ya there! :eyebrow:
If not...I'll probably need to catch a ride  :wo:

Next time buy a Chevy! 🚙 It will just be getting broke in at those miles.

If you ever hear a tree knock you will believe! 🐨
I mean how in the heck can a man spend 35 yrs searching for something that doesn't exist and get paid for it?

I hope your weekend get away goes great, and he's a perfect gentleman!
It is 2017 and you have nothing to be ashamed of.👬😂😂😂😂.
