Hi guys....here's the first call turned on my new Rikon lathe....I think that Rikon is going to be a very nice little lathe...so far I love it!!!
Here is the second call in my new style...it is still in the lathe, and still needs several more coats of finish and buffing...but I thought I would see what ya'll think of it....
It is Water Buffalo Horn, and a decent piece of Amboyna Burl....I got some goodies in and couldn't wait to get started with some of 'em....
Here's the new lathe...

Great job Joe!! Shop looks good, call looks great!! :highclap: :highclap: I'm likin' your wood/horn, wood/antler combos.
Looks good from here.
It's another completely different shape. Are you in transition?... or just free wheeling shapes as you go? There for a while you had a signature shape going.
i'll take it.
steve
Joe,
I think it's freaking awesome!!!!!
Holy cow :shck:
Simpliy amazing!!!!!!!
Yoey
Thanks guys.....it's your Steve....
Jim....yes, I am making a transition of sorts...have not finalized entirely with this one....but a getting it situated in my head....I think I will use this basic shape for my "fancier" calls.....
Thanks Yoey....you are too kind!!!!
Yoe
Can't even see it and its gone already. :rolleye:
Uh, Jim I need ya to go head with "operation block Steves replies" please. :innocentwhistle: This is getting a little out of control now.

"Pimp my Call" starring Joe "Arky" Bradshaw!!! Coming to channel near you!!!
Loren
Hey, looks good Joe, what happened to the antler one? :innocentwhistle:
Got em Todd :roflmao:
How can you have a shop that clean. I can't even see the floor in mine. I have come to conclusion that the more dust and chips I leave on the floor the softer it is standing in front of the lathe.
Joe, That call looks great. I look forward for the new line to be released to the gen pop.
