Who can tell me this?

In the movie "Crocodile Dundee II" when Mic was leading the gangsters into the bush, what was the rifle he was using ?

Just watch this movie on TV and was trying to figure out what it was.

Well thank you nasty. There were a couple mini 14s and a Remington 700 or two but the one he was using with the pistol grip was peaking my intrest. I just liked the looks of it.
