The desert is full of stuff that will bite you, sting you, jag you but it a beautiful sight when all is in bloom.

Last spring about this time or a little later my wife and I cruised the deserts of AZ, UT, NM and loved the many wild flowers.  Those red cactus are my favorite.  In the Arches National Monument I think we counted 18 different varieties of spring desert flowers. John, you have it good!
