Whether it was an intentional hunt or if you were in a treestand waiting for a deer, it's all good.
Have you ever shot a coyote with a bow?
My first ever, was with a bow, while in a treestand deer hunting.

Thank you, Bowhunter57
That's just not fair Bowhunter57. Most of us went months, some years, attempting to get that first....and you bag one unintentionally...WITH A BOW?
:yoyo: :yoyo:
:roflmao: Ooops my bow went off! Well, will ya' looky there! :roflmao:
Very nice!
Never have, but I got a friend who did...from a treestand. He lip squeaked in four youngens out of a nearby field, stuck one when they got to the base of his tree, then when it was running in circles and yelping, the other three attacked it.

My 1st and only yote to date was while deer hunting with a bow. Recurve that is  :yoyo:
I have took several with a bow over the years. Some from tree stands while deer hunting and some while calling. Took several with Black Powder guns as well. We done some filming out in AZ last year calling and filming, and bows are tough! Along with the weather we had. But man was it fun!
Brent
statelinerut got one last year with his bow.
Good job :yoyo:
I never killed one with the bow. I have never tried but have thought about it. Have seen several shot with bows from other people while deer hunting.
I've cherry picked a few from the deer stand... foxes too. I always have a call on me in the early bow season- just in case opportunity knocks.
Shoot a few every year with my 'curve, from the ground. Ill put away the rifle for a couple days and concentrate on calling them with the bow in my hand.I like to get into position so they come around a big bush that I can see thru, that way I can time my draw to release a soon as they step clear(if theyre just trotting) if theyre running I take that shot if close enough or I lip squeak and start drawing at the same time and hope it all works out.
Hey Bow: Ya gotta check this out ...

I almost got one with my bow. I overestimated the yardage and shot just over his back!
That's not gonna cut it cb...c'mon now :iroll:
Ah...ok...we'll let it slide, I've never even fired a bow AT one :laf:
But I was really close :innocentwhistle:
