I believe the devices were required to have a ground sometime in the mid 1940s. That would make these over 75 years old.

I put a new dining room light in a couple weeks ago. An LED one. And I realized afterwards that it you can put a dimmer switch on it. So I took these out of the wall when I put the dimmer switch in. I didn't realize how old they were lol

Look like they are made from the same material as the old Pied Piper Calls.
