The moose looked very healthy after the winter. Especially considering that the wolves have been around since last year.

How tall would you guess the back on that one to be?
We dont have them this far south, and by the pic I'm gonna guess...5 feet?

I think 4 to 4 1/2 feet would be a pretty good estimate. I've enclosed a couple of pictures from years ago of a large bull moose. The post in the picture is exactly 6 feet to the top.

I killed a Moose many, many years ago in Alaska. When I walked up to the beast I looked at it then looked at my knife and thought -- what in the hell did I do. Thanks for the pictures and the memory.

Glad you enjoyed the pictures. I've acquired many pictures of moose that roam the camp property over the years.
