Jerry

:argh: Man..... you get a guys hopes up......... :roflmao:
Whut happened? I clicked on this thread expecting to see a nice fat beaver caught in a 330 conibear. :doh2:
Y'all want me to drag out some pics of little miss Aria Giovanni and her unshaved beaver?
What's that? I think I can hear Jimbo screaming "NOOOOO!" all the way down hear in Kaintuckee. :roflmao: :roflmao:
Shucks, wrong beaver !
Heck, I thought Jim had a pic of the ex for a second.....And after looking at the pics he still may????? :innocentwhistle:
LOL :roflmao:
For those that aren't aware, there are folks that have the ability to actually shave scenes into the hair of these pelts. I've seen some really sharps ones with mountains and sunsets, etc.
They don't shave them down to the skin, but the different hair heights is what provides the image. Really cool stuff.
Now about the other beavers, I have seen em shaved down to the skin, but I cant say I'v ever seen a mural in one, although I bet some hold a real story.
Now be careful here :innocentwhistle:

Your killen me Jimbo.
 you hoop them after ya tan em
The customer hooped these before he sent them in. Which told me he wanted the legendary oval and over sized appearance to them.
So I put them back on the hoop for just a 24 hour period during their drying to regain their original size and shape.
Otherwise, as I'm scudding them during drying they'll lose the oval shape. They will actually end up with too much slack skin in the center of them. Hooping avoids that and gives them their shape back.
For some reason the 70's, Buckwheat on a bad hair day Beaver came to mind. :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:
Brian.
