Theres 2 winters worth when I'm done filling it in. Here's a picture of the pile finished from last year. Each of them rows is 16 ft long going away from you in the picture and t foot tall. There will be 9 rows. I burn half of that a year. I'm filling in right now what I burned last year on one side of the pile..while I burn from the other side of the pile.  I keep going back and forth so that everything I burned has sat a year and is dry.

Seems like a great idea to switch back and forth.  Getting wood that has dried for a year should make for pretty good heat.

It feels like two maybe three lifetimes worth while I'm cutting it, hauling it, splitting it, and stacking it too. [emoji23]
