28 dead cattle from a little bolt.
Be a good place to maybe find a coyote or two. :eyebrow:

Had friends, in eastern Colorado, who had a breeding bull hit and killed by lightning. It valued at $40,000 dollars and not ensured. Could not take the loss off taxes as they had raised the bull from a calf. Did make a good draw station for coyotes. Brother took half dozen coyotes from around that carcass, in a couple of days. Did not set near it, but on the trails leading into the area. Stayed back a good 50 yards and avoided all the skunks.

I've seen 13 dead in the corner and they were expensive pure breds.  Many cows get struck by lightning in a year.   It's to bad they don't get insta cooked.
