A while back I made my first post to this forum. Shortly thereafter, I posted a call that I had made. It was made from Juniper. Well, Brad H of this forum, graciously offered to send me some juniper to turn. Naturally I accepted his offer, and offered to pay for the postage. He declined and sent the wood. I received the box and found four really nice pieces of Juniper, a square of what appears to be bubinga, and a 1" dowel of Rosewood. Wow, what a great guy. Just for no reason other than I am a newbie here on the board. He couldn't have made me feel any more welcome.
I finished turning a predator call, which is what I turn, from one of the pieces of Juniper, and just wanted to share it. The call is a howler, the wood portion is 3 1/2" long, the soundboard is howler from Al, at THO Game Calls, as well as the brass band. I think it turned out very nice. Hope you enjoy the call.
