I had to go to the granddaughter's dance recital over in Stockton Illinois this weekend.
Upon seating myself I noticed a wide open area in the middle of the folding chairs for the audience. :confused:
Once the show started I looked over there and I'll be damned if Jerry Latta wasn't sitting right in the middle of it with his tripod in front of him recording the event. Nobody's allowed to stand up, nobody's allowed to use flash photography but ol Jerry over there doing all the above. :innocentwhistle: Couldn't believe it

Yea, if you are the 'official' photographer you can do about anything you want. And if you don't like it just let me know which one is your granddaughter and I will remove her from any of the images. I only had to use that line once, but it sure worked. (It was a few years ago and it was a new 'big wig' in town who thought he knew and could run everything. After listening to him complain for a couple of minutes I used that line, he looked surprised, mumbled, and shut up. A couple of other 'big wigs' who are my friends had a quick chat with him and he came over and apologized.)
