Title: Limping buck in our yard
Post by: Okanagan on June 03, 2023, 02:04:11 PM
Early yesterday morning a young buck was eating green cherries from a tree in our yard.  I think he is a 2x3.  He walks with a noticeable limp but it is not severe.  I saw him a couple of weeks ago limping down a nearby lane but didn't get a good look and thought that he was a spike.  Yesterday he took off before I got binos or camera out.  No injury visible and I suspect that he is pretty much healed, maybe as much as he is going to heal.  He looks healthy and normal when he is standing still.  Will try to get a pic.
