Title: Very good salmon season this year

Last evening two cousins and I caught a boat limit of two each, and four of the six salmon weighed between 19 and 23 lbs.  Not big compared to 40 years ago but more fish over 20 lbs. than we have seen in years.  Wind and waves made for rough water and only two other boats were out, compared to 150 boats on opening weekend.

The fish counter guy on the dock is starting to watch for these two cousins.  They consistently bring in more and bigger fish.

Yesterday afternoon was slow at first and I didn't get a bite for over three hours.  Then it picked up about supper time and we even had a double with two fish on for a few minutes before one of the salmon came off.  We caught about 16 salmon, and released some wild fish and some under ten pounds or so.

I'm having trouble posting photos.  Some upgrade or other changed my photo software.
