Got on that size last year in New York, but it was a 3x3. Good eating.

Those are my go to nephews when I need any heavy lifting done. The older I get the bigger they get for some strange reason  :biggrin:

It's fun and deeply satisfying to see strapping young men like those in your family hunting and helping the codgers hunt.  I am blessed that way, as my posts well reveal.I hope such families are growing rather than diminshing in this country, but am not sure.

I am proud of both of them, they are hard-working welders, love to fish and hunt and shoot and take their young families right with them for the journey setting up the next generations hopefully.🇺🇸🇺🇸

It wouldn't be the first time! I'm actually probably not even going to deer hunt this year I have a surplus of venison. Probably doing some small game hunting and maybe some predator hunting and thinking about breaking the duck and goose calls out.
