Grandson Code sort of grew up on this forum. He has turned into a very good hunter.
I saw the 2x4 buck in the pic about 6 weeks ago and a cousin has seen it several times near his place. Code doesn't have much time to hunt locally this Fall, so when the cousin called to tell him that the buck had been at his place that morning, Code went looking for it after work that afternoon.
Code sneaked around and spotted the bedded buck. He stalked it and shot it with his bow at 34 yards when it jumped up. The mechanical broadhead opens up to make a wide slice, as seen on the buck's shoulder.
Nice buck. :highclap: Tell him congratulations and don't forget to give some of the meat to his grandfather. (I know he will if you are at all interested.)
