Title: Sharp uptick in road killed deer
Post by: Okanagan on April 12, 2026, 10:49:12 AM
Within the past ten days I've noticed many more road killed deer than usual. Most of them appear to be short yearlings, born last spring and averaging probably 11 months old now.  Is this common elsewhere?

These are blacktail deer, not nearly as abundant as whitetails are in many of your areas.
