Title: A Good Trouthound…
Post by: nastygunz on April 23, 2026, 03:31:28 PM
... training is a lot of hard work, but when you're done, a good trout hound is worth its weight in gold :innocentwhistle: 🐶

That's beautiful.  I am surprised at how much it looks like our streams on the Olympic Peninsula, though the rocks are a different kind of stone.  Those look like western red cedar, but probably aren't.

What a great outing for the dogs.  They are loving it!

My 6 foot 2 weight fly rod and native brook trout, I think I might be having a glimpse of what heaven must be like when I'm there.

After a brutally cold winter, it has been cold as hell here freezing or below every single night mid 40s during the day.

Never ending winter. Usually at this time of the year, I'm bitching about the hot weather and humidity and bugs.
