Title: Logging trucks in our local parade, load of logs auctioned
Post by: Okanagan on May 10, 2026, 12:46:33 PM
Small town.  My granddaughter brought her boyfriend from Phoenix, Arizona for the weekend and he proposed to her Friday evening.  Our big family watched the annual Irrigation Festival Parade and the logging show on Saturday.

Arizona man got a kick out of the small town wrinkles and the logging stuff.  How many towns have loaded logging trucks in their parade and then auction off the loads of logs at the end? :laf:

You gotta love the small town vibes.
Sounds like the parade here. We definitely have loaded log trucks :highclap: We even have horses pulling the floats. And 5 year olds driving tractors. Everyone has a blast  :congrats:

Yep. we're probably not that rare after all, given that there are a LOT more small towns than big cities.  Good to hear of your town.
