Title: KAA!
Post by: nastygunz on June 23, 2026, 08:34:34 PM
Jimbo's little buddy has taken up permanent residence in the garden. I named him KAA after the giant snake in
The Jungle Book

Definitely NOT Jimbo's buddy.
And it definitely would not be a permanent resident :nono:

Whats he in, anyway? Looks like a mouse or rat trap. That would make a perfect coffin. Feed him a hollow point right where he lies.

Cute little Garter Snake

My missus doesn't care for snakes but I like a good size rat snake in the barn to keep the rats and birds out.

They don't bother me as long as they're not in the house

Where we used to live, I would occasionally find a little garter snake, about 6 inch, in our basement. I never dared tell the missus because we would have to tear the house down, lol, but I would relocate them to the barn. She caught me tossing a rat snake out of the yard and into the hayfield and it didn't go over well.

She lives right beside a freshwater canal in West Palm Beach, place is crawling with alligators, literally. She can't even let her dog outside and run.

Her hubby fishes in the canal from the shore, he carries a folding lawn chair with him and sits it in front of him when he's fishing along the water, alligator obstacle.

I would be staying a long ways away from the water edge down there.👀
