Kingwood is a nice wood to work and you did a great job with the stick.  I like turning it.

Todd, I will try to get the ends on here. I dont have any reeds yet so I left the end out ooops. I turned one coco, one red cedar and one persimmon today. I hope to get the pictures on here. It take so long to up load I can rough in a blank by the time they get up loaded. I guess I owe KeeKee and Al a big thank you, they are the ones that got me going in the right direction. Im not a call maker yet, but it sure is fun trying. Oh I would like to add that I did finally get my spacers turned. I was pretty frusterated, so I cut a section out of a straw broom handle and got the hole drilled and turned to fit up to 1/2inch shoulder. I dont know why I did that but it worked out good lol. Now I have to get some more wood, I have some more coco, but Im kind of dissatisfied with it, I thought it was gonna be darker.
