I have finished two slate calls since purchasing my Jet Lathe. This is something that I have really enjoyed so far. I am hooked. After I make some strikers to match the calls I will put them on Ebay or offer them in the forums. They both sound great using generic strikers.
Thank all of you who have answered my questions about making pots. I appreciate all the help you have gave me.
The one on the left is Birds Eye Maple and the other is Sassafras.

Those are some pretty sweet lookin slates. Can't wait to see the strikers. :wink:
