Here's one I finished today....not been spending much time in the shop of late. This one is a special order, along with a matching coaxer....gotta get busy on the coaxer!! At any rate, I thought I would show ya'll this one. After all the beautiful stuff I have seen posted of late, perhaps I should wrap this one in a brown paper bag, and keep the pics to myself. But, since I haven't made anything much lately, I wanted to show ya'll I was still alive...so......here goes :holdon:
It is the "Silver Snake" pattern, pearlized acrylic. It features a stainless steel accent band and the insert is made from Indian Ox horn...the blondish color of the horn seemed to lend itself well to a union with this piece of acrylic, at least to me. The insert and the corresponding hole are tapered, and utilize an "O" ring fit. It is tuned with a JC sleeve and JC brass reed, sounds great in the horn.

Brown paper bag would just go over my head. That call is a looker and to me looks like it would fit very nicely in a hunter's hand. Like Todd, I am glad to see that you had a little time to spin. How was the concert?
