Hi guys.....built this today for fun...it is a fired 50 cal BMG case...it has a polycarbonate insert which contains a sized rubber grommet....which in turn holds a JC mylar reed.....very smooth and sweet sound...unless you add a lot of air and a little back pressure...then it screams!!
I also made a cover for the mouth, to keep the brass from being cold to the mouth...all in all a cool little call...was fun to make and sounds great!!
I may make a few more...may not :wo:

Thats purdy neat!! :eyebrow:
Yoe,
Do you have a metal lathe or just a high-tech hacksaw? The call is a neat idea, but I can't comment much on your turning skills. :innocentwhistle:
Yerry
