Title: decent elk shed

surprized on how good it looked when i found it. thought it would of been more weathered. its a nice one but only has a 45 inch main beam. thinkin it came off maybe a 310 bull

Nice find!  Still has good color.  Any chew marks from the little animals on it?

Finding shed Antlers is weird,,I have found Sheds that were dropped a few months earlier and they were chewed on pretty bad,,and then I find a Shed Antler maybe 300 yards away that was NOT touched,,I guess it depends on how hungry the Mice are withn a few yards  :shrug:  BUT that is a NICE shed,,How many have ya ever found Basin Boy ???

this year ive found 33 elk sheds and 40 deer sheds.

I saw a post on the pen site that said someone was planning a large purchase of antler.  Now I know where they are going to be sending the check.

o this is hardly anything compared to some peoples piles of antlers :biggrin: a good friend of mine is into selling and buying them and he has thousands in his garage. he doesnt even have room to walk through or park his car
