Here is a Olivewood closed reed call. Which I carved to make look like a Coyote head. Turned out really pretty in the Olivewood. This was traded to a very talented call maker in Colorado, hope he enjoys it.
Quotea very talented call maker in Colorado

Wow that is really nice. Good job. :yoyo:
Man oh man!!!!!!!!! Kurt, you've out done your self sir! Plain and simple. The grain of the olive coupled with the detail of the carving is stunning. This call will no doubt have a space on the top shelf of my call cabinet.
A while back Kurt asked that I make him a specific call out of ironwood. Being as he was so patient on waiting for me to turn his call I told him that I wasn't worried about payment and that maybe someday he could carve me up one of those coyote head calls. We had talked about him doing it out of ironwood but when I saw that olive wood, there was no way I could say no.
Thank you kindly! No doubt I came out on top of this deal!!!!
Todd, your right he could of replaced "talented" with something more fitting. Terms like "Soggied", "Scrawney", and "Hog washed" come to mind! LOL
